Opis:Varnost naprav je pomembna tako za proizvajalca, kot tudi za uporabnika naprave. Obvladovanje interakcij med uporabnikom in proizvajalcem je ključno za pridobivanje kakovostnega znanja. Nenehen pritok znanja v proizvodno organizacijo za izdelavo in nadgradnjo uporabnih, učinkovitih in varnih naprav pripomore k višji uspešnosti naprav na trgu. S tem proizvajalec pridobiva tržni delež, uporabnik pa varnejše in učinkovitejše naprave, s katerimi lahko boljše opravi svoje delo. Namen raziskave je raziskati vpliv različnih interakcij med uporabnikom in proizvajalcem na varnost naprav. Najprej je predstavljeno teoretično ozadje, nato sledijo teoretične osnove in raziskovalne vrzeli, kjer smo največji poudarek pri pregledu literature namenili interakcijam med uporabnikom in proizvajalcem. Raziskovalni okvir smo razvili na osnovi pregledane literature in ugotovljenih vrzeli ter postavili teoretični raziskovalni model. V njem smo predstavili tri konstrukte Interakcija med uporabnikom in proizvajalcem, Varnost naprav in Informiranje uporabnika. Vsakega od konstruktov smo razdelili na več dimenzij, saj smo predvidevali, da je vpliv posameznih dimenzij različen. V nadaljevanju smo postavili raziskovalna vprašanja in hipoteze. Predstavili smo raziskovalne metode in postopek zbiranja podatkov za empirično raziskavo. Za izvedbo raziskave smo uporabili anketni vprašalnik, kjer so sodelovali uporabniki naprav za medicinske in kozmetične namene. V obdelavo podatkov je bilo vključenih 186 ustrezno izpolnjenih anketnih vprašalnikov (169 iz Slovenije in 17 iz tujine). Z linearno regresijo smo ugotovili statistično značilno in pozitivno povezanost med dimenzijami konstrukta Interakcija med uporabnikom in proizvajalcem in dimenzijami konstrukta Varnost naprav. Poleg tega smo z izračunom moderacije dobili dva moderatorja - dimenziji konstrukta »Informiranje uporabnika«, ki vplivata na povezavo med neodvisno in odvisno spremenljivko. Ugotovili smo, da je »Dodatno usposabljanje« pomembno za višjo varnost naprav, prav tako »Branje navodil za vzdrževanje naprav in varnostnih opozoril«. Slednji poleg tega, da v povezavi nastopa kot moderator, nastopi še kot mediator za štiri povezave med neodvisno in odvisno spremenljivko. Poleg metode linearne regresije smo za potrditev modela uporabili še metodo PLS-PM (Partial Least Squares Path Modeling). Z njo smo preverili ustreznost vključenosti posameznih faktorjev oziroma dimenzij v latentno spremenljivko (konstrukt). Z metodo PLS-PM smo potrdili, da so v konstrukt »Interakcija med uporabnikom in proizvajalcem« vključene dimenzije: sodelovanje med uporabnikom in razvojnim oddelkom, sodelovanje na področju uporabnosti naprav, sodelovanje med uporabnikom in servisnim oddelkom in sodelovanje na področju zadovoljstva uporabnikov. V konstrukt »Varnost naprav« pa so vključene dimenzije: izmenjava informacij glede delovanja naprav, izmenjava mnenj in rezultatov terapij, obveščanje o tveganjih in obveščanje o stranskih učinkih. Slednja dimenzija je bila dodana v končen model na podlagi izračuna po metodi PLS-PM. V model, narejen z metodo linearne regresije, omenjena dimenzija na podlagi izračunov ni bila vključena. Če primerjamo model zgrajen s pomočjo metode linearne regresije in metode PLS-PM, vidimo, da smo s slednjo pridobili dodaten vpogled v predhodne rezultate, saj smo v izračune zajeli vse faktorje, ki opredeljujejo posamezne dimenzije. Končen model, ki je bil zgrajen z metodo linearne regresije in model, ki je bil narejen z metodo PLS-PM se v določenih dimenzijah razlikujeta: v dimenziji »Sodelovanje na področju dodatnih izobraževanj« pri neodvisni spremenljivki in pri odvisni spremenljivki v dveh dimenzijah »Upoštevanje navodil za vzdrževanje naprav in varnostnih opozoril« in »Prepoznavanje okvar na napravi« ter dodali eno – »Obveščanje o stranskih učinkih«. Naslov:Management of interactions between user and producer of devices for medical and cosmetic treatments
Opis:Device safety is important for producer and user. Therefore the management of interactions between the two is of utmost importance for the quality of the gathered information. The continuous flow of information to the production organization for production and improvement of useful, effective and safe devices enables a higher market success of the device. This leads to higher market share for the producer. It also brings safer and more effective devices to the user and thus increases the effectiveness of her or his work. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of different interactions between user and producer on safety of devices. First the theoretical background is discussed followed by theoretic basis and current research. The biggest focus in literature overview was on the subject of interactions between producer and user. The research framework was developed on the basis of the literature overview and research gaps and then the theoretical research model was developed. In the research model three constructs were presented: Interaction between user and producer, Device safety and User informedness. Each of the construct was described by several dimensions, because it was expected that not all dimensions have mutual dependencies. This was followed by development of research questions and hypotheses. Research methods and information gathering protocol for empirical research were introduced. For the research a questionnaire was used on a group of users of medical and cosmetic devices. For the data analysis 186 correctly filled in questionnaires were used (169 from Slovenia and 17 from abroad). Method of linear regression confirmed statistically significant and positive correlation between the six dimensions of construct “Interaction between user and producer” and the six dimension of construct “Device safety”. In addition two moderators were calculated. They are dimensions of the construct “User informedness” that determine the correlation between independent and dependent variable. It was found that additional training of users significantly improves safety of devices. The same holds true for reading of user’s manuals, device maintenance manuals, and safety labels on part of the users. The latter, in addition to being moderator in the correlation, is also a mediator in four correlations between the independent and dependent variable. Method of PLS-PM (Partial Least Squares Path Modeling) was used for additional confirmation of the model and for the relevance of latent variable (construct) described by different factors or dimensions. This method confirmed that construct “Interaction between user and producer” is described by dimensions: cooperation with the R&D department, cooperation in accordance with device use, cooperation of user and maintenance department and cooperation with regards to user satisfaction. The construct “Device safety” is described by dimensions: information exchange regarding the device functioning, opinion and therapies results exchange, risk communication and information on side effects exchange. The last dimension was added to final model because of the results of PLS-PM method, despite method of linear regression didn’t provide the same result for this dimension. Using PLS-PM method, additionally confirmed results of method of linear regression. Model built on results of linear regression method and model built on results of PLS-PM method are different in some dimensions: “Cooperation in the field of additional education” as dimension of independent variable and as two dimensions of dependent variable :“Consideration of device maintenance manuals and safety labels” and “Recognition of device faults”. Results of PLS-PM method confirms adding “Information on side effects exchange” as dimension of dependent variable.
