Abstract:POVZETEK Diplomsko delo z naslovom Škodljivi vplivi sonca opozarja na škodljivost in posledice prekomernega izpostavljanja sončnim žarkom. V teoretičnem delu so zbrani podatki o škodljivem delovanju sončnih žarkov, posledicah sončenja ter preventivni ukrepi za preprečevanje sončnih opeklin, drugih poškodb in predstavitev projekta »Zaščita pred škodljivimi posledicami sončnih žarkov – ozaveščanje predšolske populacije«. V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati raziskave, ki smo jih dobili s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika 52 staršev otrok vrtca Slovenske Konjice, v letu 2008.
Keywords:Ključne besede: otrok, starši, sonce, sončenje, zaščita pred soncem.

Abstract:ABSTRACT This diploma work titled “Noxious influences of the sun” is warning about the noxiousness and consequences of the excessive exposure of the sun rays. The theoretical part rallies data about the noxious effects of the sun rays, influences of the sunbathe and preventive steps for prevention of sunburns, other injuries and presentation of the project “Protection from the noxious consequences of the sun rays – informing preschool population”. The empirical part presents results of the research, which we got with the help of questionnaire of 52 parents of the children of the kindergarten Slovenske Konjice in the year 2008. The purpose of the research was to find out in what measure these parents are informed about the noxiousness of the sun and what kind of preventive against the sun they use for their children. We found out that parents are very well informed about the noxious influences of the sun and often use preventives against the sun for their children as a protective sun creams and head-coverings. This knowledge they transmit to their children and accustom them to independence at using preventives. Despite of acquainted with the dangerous of the sun rays someone still does not withdraw from the sun when this is the most important, otherwise between 11 am and 4 pm.
