Abstract:
V Sloveniji se gradijo pretežno konstrukcije iz armiranega betona. Beton kot gradbeni material se uporablja že stoletja, saj ga je enostavno proizvesti ob minimalnih stroških. Dandanes je najbolj razširjeno gradivo pri gradnji od mostov, objektov visokogradnje do hidrotehničnih, prometnih in industrijskih objektov. Proces se prične v betonarni s projektiranjem sestave, izdelavo začetnega preizkusa ter proizvodnjo. Beton proizvedemo v betonarni ali gradbišču s pomočjo mobilnih betonarn. Sledi transport do gradbišča, kjer betonsko mešanico s predvidenimi sredstvi za vgrajevanje vgradimo v predhodno pripravljen opaž. Pred vgradnjo odvzamemo vzorce ter opravimo začetne preizkuse. Vgradnji sledi postopek nege in zaščite vgrajenega betona, saj je od tega v veliki meri odvisna kvaliteta otrdelega betona, vodoodpornost in odpornost na vplive okolja.

Title:
PREPARING THE CONCRETE AND CONCRETING PROCESS
Abstract:
In Slovenia we build structures mainly out of reinforced concrete. Concrete as construction material is being in use for centuries, because it is easy to prepare at minimum cost. Today it is the most widely used construction material for building from bridges, blocks to hydrotechnical objects, road construction and industrial objects. Manufacturing begins at the concrete plant by designing constituents, preeliminary tests and production. Concrete can be produced either at the concrete plant or construction site by mobile concrete plant. After the concrete is conveyed to the construction site the concreting process can begin. Testing is used to help ensure and document that the concrete used for the project meets the specifications. Immediately after placement, concrete shall be protected by curing. Curing concrete is a very important part of the building process because all useful properties such as strength, water tightness and wear resistance improve.
