Abstract:Uvod: Zaposleni v zdravstveni in babiški negi spadajo v skupino poklicev, ki so v intenzivnem razmerju dela z žensko, otrokom in družino. Dobljeni podatki so bili statistično obdelani in analizirani z Microsoft Excel 2013 in IBM SPSS 29.0. Rezultati: Rezultati kažejo, da so zaposleni navedli zmerno raven zadovoljstva na delovnem mestu. Udeleženci so navedli nizko stopnja izgorelosti.

Title:Satisfaction of employees in health and midwifery care of the perinatology department in relation to the occurrence of burnout syndrome
Abstract:Introduction: Health and midwifery care employees belong to professions that are exposed to an intensive work relationship with women, children and families. They encounter a burdened work environment, that has an impact on satisfaction and burnout process. The purpose of master's thesis was to determine the level and reasons for employee satisfaction in connection with the burnout syndrome. Methods: In the theoretical part, we used the descriptive method. The empirical part was based on quantitative methodology. We used questionnaires for satisfaction (MSQ) and the degree of burnout (CBI). Research was among employees of perinatology, at the tertiary level of health care. The obtained data were statistically processed and analyzed with Microsoft Excel 2013 and IBM SPSS 29.0. Results: The level of employee job satisfaction was moderate, where was dissatisfaction expressed in the institution's work policy, pay and amount of work. Participants reported a low level of burnout. The results show us a statistically significant association between the job satisfaction and occurrence of burnout (p < 0.001). Discussion and conclusion: Dissatisfaction presents a higher possibility of burnout syndrome, which affects the treatment of women, children and families. There is a need to find stress management strategies and raise awareness about burnout.
