Title:Mnenja vzgojiteljev o medvrstniškem nasilju v vrtcu : diplomsko delo

Abstract:Diplomsko delo z naslovom Mnenja vzgojiteljev o medvrstniškem nasilju v vrtcu je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu smo opredelili nasilje in njegove oblike. Podrobneje smo predstavili medvrstniško nasilje, udeležence, ki so lahko prisotni, opredelili smo medvrstniško nasilje glede na spol in vlogo ter naloge vzgojitelja. V empiričnem delu smo s pomočjo spletne ankete izvedli raziskavo, v kateri so sodelovali vzgojitelji in pomočniki vzgojiteljev slovenskih, hrvaških in avstrijskih vrtcev. Raziskati smo želeli, katera vedenja otrok vzgojitelji uvrščajo v medvrstniško nasilje, katere so oblike nasilja, ki se najpogosteje pojavljajo v skupini, med katerim spolom se pojavljajo določene oblike nasilja, kateri je najpogostejši vzrok za pojav medvrstniškega nasilja, zanimalo nas je tudi, kako vzgojitelji ukrepajo, kadar se medvrstniško nasilje pojavi v skupini in na kakšen način ob pojavu le-tega sodelujejo s starši. Ugotovili smo, da se v vrtcih v večji meri pojavlja fizično nasilje in da največ anketirancev ravno »pretepanje« kot vedenje otroka uvršča k medvrstniškem nasilju. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da med nobenim spolom ne prihaja do spolnega nasilja in da največ anketirancev meni, da je vzrok za pojav medvrstniškega nasilja v vrtcu nasilje v družini, kjer otrok odrašča.

Title:Early childhood teachers' perspectives on peer violence in kindergarten
Abstract:The diploma thesis titled Early childhood teacher's perspectives on peer violence in kindergarten consists of a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part defines violence and its types. Peer violence and eventual present partakers are presented in more detail, peer violence is defined according to gender and role as well as tasks of the early childhood teacher. The empirical part involves a research conducted by means of an online survey, which included early childhood teachers and early childhood teachers’ assistants from Slovene, Croatian and Austrian kindergartens. We wanted to investigate which behaviour early childhood teachers classify as peer violence, identify the types of violence that occur most frequently in a group, examine among which gender specific types of violence occur, and the most common causes for the occurrence of peer violence. We were also interested in how early childhood teachers act when peer violence occurs in a group and how they cooperate with parents in such occasions. We established that in kindergartens physical violence is prevalent and that most respondents classify "fighting" as a child's behaviour as peer violence. It was established that there was no occurrence of sexual violence among neither gender and that the majority of respondents believed the cause of peer violence in kindergartens to be the violence in the family where the child is growing up.
