Abstract:
Diplomsko delo raziskuje obnašanje enorednega krogličnega ležaja pod statičnimi obremenitvami. Cilj je razumeti pomike, deformacije in napetosti, ki nastanejo v ležaju pod obremenitvijo osne sile. Raziskava uporablja analitične metode, teorijo elastičnosti in metodo končnih elementov (MKE) za modeliranje in simulacijo ležaja. Rezultati teh metod so primerjani s standardi. Predpostavke vključujejo linearne elastične lastnosti, homogenost materialov, statične obremenitve in idealno geometrijo. Omejitve obsegajo analizo enega ležaja na osi, idealne pogoje delovanja, poenostavitve v analitičnih in numeričnih metodah ter primerjavo z eksperimentalnimi ali že znanimi rezultati. Za izvedbo numerične simulacije je uporabljen ustrezen programski paket PrePoMax.

Title:
Numerical analysis of a single-row ball bearing
Abstract:
The thesis explores the behaviour of a single-row ball bearing under static loads. The objective is to understand the displacements, deformations and stresses that occur in the bearing under axial force. The research utilizes analytical methods, elasticity theory and the finite element method (FEM) for modelling and simulating the bearing. The results of these methods are compared with standards. Assumptions include linear elastic properties, material homogeneity, static loads and ideal geometry. Limitations encompass analysis of one bearing on the axis, ideal operating conditions, simplifications in analytical and numerical methods and comparison with experimental or already known results. The software package PrePoMax is used for numerical simulations.
