Uporabili smo sistematični pregled literature s področja izbrane tematike in deskriptivno oz. opisno metodo dela, kjer so vključeni pregled, analiza in sinteza obstoječih znanstvenih raziskav.

Title:Psychophysical strain at work and effect on nurses´ mental health
Abstract:The purpose of this research work was to perform a literature review to identify the most common psychophysical burdens on nurses and their impact on their mental health. A systematic literature review of the chosen topic was used, along with a descriptive or narrative method of work, which included the review, analysis, and synthesis of existing scientific research. The final analysis included 7 articles that highlight the findings of the chosen topic. In the content analysis, the main theme of the research was divided into three subcategories: psychophysical burdens in the workplace, mental disorders of nurses, and relief approaches. We found that nurses face many psychophysical burdens in the workplace that affect their mental health. Most often, they encounter issues related to staff shortages, leading to the overburdening of existing staff and the emergence of dissatisfaction, burnout, depression, and anxiety. This issue is faced by most healthcare organizations worldwide, necessitating system reorganizations by leaders and the introduction of training to maintain the positive mental health of employees.
