Title:Modern methods of education
Abstract:The development of technology and the general progress of society also have a major impact on education, which is constantly confronted with innovation and changes. New ways and methods have begun to emerge in education, somewhat eclipsing the traditional approach to education. The aim of this thesis was to explore modern methods of education, their advantages and disadvantages, and their usefulness for study. In the theoretical part, we presented modern methods of education, and in the empirical part, we conducted a survey among undergraduate students of the Faculty of Organisational Sciences Kranj using a questionnaire. The results of the survey show that students are mostly confronted with blended learning, cooperative learning and project work. The most useful ways of studying for them are combined learning, project work and peer learning. They also make extensive use of mobile learning and artificial intelligence tools. They see these modern methods as having a positive impact on motivation, creativity and overall academic performance. Through our research, we have learned that students are more inclined towards modern modes, whose main advantages are faster access to knowledge and resources, greater flexibility in terms of location, time, pace of learning, and easier accessibility to learning content. The most visible disadvantages are the dependence of education on technology, lack of personal contact and communication, technical difficulties and reduced attention span.
