Title:Zaznavanje kakovosti šolskega življenja srednješolcev in njihova nagnjenja k vseživljenjskemu učenju : magistrsko delo

Abstract:Namen magistrskega dela je bil preučiti mnenja dijakov o kakovosti šolskega življenja in njihova nagnjenja k vseživljenjskemu učenju glede na spol, vrsto šole in učni uspeh. V teoretičnem delu smo najprej opredelili kakovost in koncepte, povezane s kakovostjo v vzgoji in izobraževanju. Največji poudarek smo dali pomenu in dejavnikom kakovosti šolskega življenja srednješolcev. Nato smo opredelili nagnjenja k vseživljenjskemu učenju in pojasnili motivacijo učencev, da nenehno izpopolnjujejo svoje znanje. V empiričnem delu magistrskega dela smo predstavili izsledke kvantitativne anketne raziskave. Vzorčno enoto je sestavljalo 306 dijakov zadnjih letnikov srednjih šol v Podravski statistični regiji. Raziskava je pokazala, da obstaja šibka, pozitivna in statistično pomembna povezava med kakovostjo šolskega življenja srednješolcev in njihovimi nagnjenji k vseživljenjskemu učenju. Ugotovili smo, da ne obstajajo statistično pomembne razlike v kakovosti šolskega življenja glede na spol in vrsto šole. Le-te pa so se pojavljale v nagnjenjih k vseživljenjskemu učenju. Dijakinje so dosegale višjo stopnjo nagnjenj k vseživljenjskemu učenju kot dijaki. Srednješolci, ki obiskujejo splošne gimnazije, so izražali višja nagnjenja k vseživljenjskemu učenju kot dijaki srednjih strokovnih in poklicnih šol. Statistično pomembne povezave v kakovosti šolskega življenja in nagnjenjih k vseživljenjskemu učenju smo zabeležili tudi pri spremenljivki učni uspeh.

Title:Perception of the Quality of School Life of Secondary-school Students and Their Tendencies for Lifelong Learning
Abstract:The objective of the master's thesis was to analyse secondary-students' views on the quality of school life and their attitude towards lifelong learning based on gender, school type and academic performance. In the theoretical part, we first defined quality and the concepts associated with quality in education. We have mainly focused on the importance and factors of the quality of secondary-school students’ school life. Then, we identified tendencies towards lifelong learning and explained the students’ motivation to continuously improve their knowledge. In the empirical part, we have presented the results of a quantitative survey. The survey included 306 students in the final year of secondary-school in the Podravje statistical region. The survey has shown that there is a weak, positive and statistically relevant correlation between the quality of school life of the secondary-school students and their tendencies towards lifelong learning. We have concluded that there are no statistically significant differences in the quality of school life depending on gender and type of school. They did, however, appear in tendencies towards lifelong learning. Female students had higher levels of lifelong learning tendencies than male students. Secondary-school students attending general upper secondary schools showed higher tendencies towards lifelong learning than students attending vocational and technical upper secondary schools. Statistically significant associations in quality of school life and lifelong learning tendencies were also observed in the variable academic achievement.
