Title:Motiviranost, priljubljenost in dosežki znanja po izvedbi učne ure s strategijo sobe pobega v fizični in virtualni obliki pri pouku biologije v 8. razredu osnovne šole : magistrsko delo

Abstract:Sobe pobega so interaktivne socialne igre, kjer igralci odkrivajo namige, rešujejo uganke in naloge v določenem prostoru in času. Bistvo sobe pobega je, da igralci nimajo danih specifičnih navodil, kako pobegniti iz sobe oz. zaključiti igro. Soba pobega je lahko uporabljena tudi kot inovativna in zanimiva strategija poučevanja, ki se lahko uporablja med poukom kateregakoli predmeta oz. učne vsebine, pri čemer obogati nabor strategij poučevanja. S strategijo sobe pobega pri učencih vzpodbujamo aktivno učenje, skupinsko delo in sodelovanje v skupini, razvijanje logičnega, ustvarjalnega in kritičnega mišljenja ter dvignemo raven motivacije. Namen magistrskega dela je bi izdelati dve sobi pobega za učno vsebino Prebavila. Eno smo izdelali v fizični obliki in eno v virtualni obliki. Učne ure s strategijo sobe pobega smo izvedli v 8. razredih osnovnih šol in po izvedbi učencem posredovali vprašalnik, s katerim smo primerjali raven učne motivacije učencev, uspešnost izvedbe in všečnost posamezne oblike sobe pobega. Ugotovili smo, da so učenci ne glede na obliko izvedbe sobe pobega dosegli visoko raven motivacije, aktivnost jim je bila všeč in svoje znanje so po izvedbi le-te ocenili z visoko oceno.

Title:Motivation, popularity and level of knowledge after conducting a lesson with the escape room learning strategy in physical and virtual form in an 8th grade biology lessons class
Abstract:Escape rooms are interactive social games, where players discover clues, solve puzzles, and complete tasks in a given space and time. The essence of an escape room is that players are not given specific instructions on how to escape the room or complete the game. An escape room can also be used as an innovative and engaging teaching strategy that can be applied in any school subject or learning content, enriching the range of teaching strategies. Using the escape room strategy encourages active learning, teamwork, and group collaboration among students. It also develops logical, creative, and critical thinking, and increases level of motivation. The purpose of the master's thesis was to create two escape rooms for the digestive system learning content. One was designed in a physical form and the other in a virtual form. Lessons using the escape room strategy, were conducted in an 8th grade biology classes in primary schools. After the implementation, a questionnaire was given to students to compare the level of learning motivation, the success of the implementation, and the appeal of each escape room form. We found out that regardless the form of the escape room implementation, students achieved a high level of motivation, enjoyed the activity, and rated their knowledge with a high grade.
