Abstract:V magistrskem delu predstavimo grupo razredov preslikav neke povezane orientirane ploskve. Definiramo tudi generatorje te grupe ter omenimo njihove znane lastnosti. Nato predstavimo problematiko dinamičnih dekompozicij torusa in že poznane rezultate v tej smeri. S pomočjo grupe razredov preslikav nadgradimo te rezultate, nato pa še neodvisno podamo nove konstrukcije.

Title:Dehn twists and dynamical decompositions of the torus : magistrsko delo
Abstract:In the thesis we introduce the mapping class group of a connected oriented surface. We define the generators of this group and observe their known properties. We then present the problem of dynamical decompositions of the torus and some known results in this area. Using the mapping class group we improve on these results as well as independently give new constructions.
