Ugotavljali smo, v kolikšni meri so podvrženi prestopniškim dejanjem in kakšni so odnosi s starši oziroma njihovimi skrbniki.

Title:Family relations and juvenile delinquency in Slovenia
Abstract:For decades, research and theories have been developed and carried out on juvenile delinquency, and yet it sometimes seems that we know practically nothing about it. In this thesis, we will look at situational action theory, which offers us a good understanding of delinquency itself. With this theory we learn about all the things that can influence deviance itself, that the family and the relationships within it are a very important factor in the development of a child, and that the environment in which we grow up is crucial to how we will accept and react to certain situations in which we find ourselves. In addition, society or friends, with whom we spend a lot of our free time, also play an important role. The thesis presents part of the questionnaire derived from the ISRD4 international survey, which is carried out in more than 50 countries worldwide. The questionnaire was completed by 8th and 9th grade pupils of primary schools and 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students of secondary schools in the wider Kranj and Ljubljana area. The questionnaire was used to establish the link between juvenile delinquency and family relationships. We looked at the extent to which they are prone to delinquent acts, and their relationships with their parents or guardians. Most of the participants get along well with their parents, and their parents know where and with whom they are hanging out. It is a little puzzling that parents do not know much about what their youngsters are doing when they are connected to social networks, which we know that nowadays can be used to discover and participate in many things, including inappropriate ones.
