Title:Umetna inteligenca kot inovativni pomočnik učitelju pri ustvarjanju didaktičnih iger na razredni stopnji poučevanja : magistrsko delo

Abstract:Učenje skozi igro predstavlja sodoben način poučevanja, ki učencem omogoča aktivno vključitev v učni proces ter zabavno pridobivanje novih znanj. Vendar pa je didaktičnih iger, še posebej na razredni stopnji, zelo malo. Orodje umetne inteligence, ChatGPT, učiteljem omogoča lažjo individualizacijo učnih potreb učencev, kar je še posebej koristno pri oblikovanju didaktičnih iger. Namen magistrskega dela je bil ustvariti didaktično igro s pomočjo umetne inteligence, natančneje s pomočjo ChatGPT-ja na osnovi primera izdelave didaktične igre, ki bo ustrezala interdisciplinarnemu povezovanju različnih predmetov na razredni stopnji ter jo izvesti z učenci 4. razreda. V praktičnem delu magistrskega dela smo na podlagi pregledanih učnih ciljev razvili didaktično igro, osredotočeno na znanje o slovenskih ljudskih pravljicah. S tem smo pri učencih razvijali tako bralne veščine kot tudi sposobnost sodelovanja z drugimi. Ugotovili smo, da orodje ChatGPT lahko izboljša učiteljevo učinkovitost pri ustvarjanju didaktičnih iger z omogočanjem hitrega prilagajanja pouka individualnim potrebam učencev. Kljub temu pa se sooča z omejitvami, kot sta plačljivost naprednejšega modela in neresnične informacije.

Title:Artificial intelligence as an innovative assistant for teachers in creating educational games for classes in the primary school
Abstract:Learning through play is a modern teaching method enabling pupils to be actively involved in the learning process and to acquire new skills in a fun way. However, very few educational games exist, especially such that would aid learning on elementary level. ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence tool, facilitates the individualisation of pupils’ learning needs, which is particularly useful in designing educational games. The aim of the master’s thesis was to create an educational game using artificial intelligence, namely ChatGPT, following the example of the creation of an educational game suitable for an interdisciplinary integration of various subjects at the primary-school level, and to implement it with fourth-grade pupils. The practical part of the master’s thesis consists of the development of an educational game that corresponds to the reviewed learning objectives and focuses on the knowledge of Slovenian folk tales. Thus, we have been strengthening the development of the pupils’ reading skills as well as their capacity for collaboration. We found that ChatGPT can improve teachers’ efficiency in creating educational games by enabling them to quickly adapt lessons to the individual needs of their pupils. There are, nevertheless, some limitations to the usage of ChatGPT, such as the cost of a more advanced model and the risk of false information.
