Abstract:Danes je vsako podjetje del globalnega trga, podjetja pa so prisiljena kontinuirano izboljševati konkurenčno sposobnost svojega dela. Eno od orodij za izboljševanje oziroma ohranjanje zadovoljstva kupcev je zagotavljanje kvalitete izdelkov. Zaradi pojavljanja površinskih napak na materialu med pakiranjem ter fizično zahtevnega dela zaposlenih se je podjetje odločilo za posodobitev pakirne linije. Ročno pakirno linijo je nadomestila polavtomatizirana linija. V delu je predstavljeno podjetje, organizacija in postopek posodobitve pakirne linije 2. V diskusiji so ovrednoteni rezultati ter pojasnjeni cilji, ki so bili doseženi. Predstavljene so rešitve, ki bi povečale pretočnost in izboljšale delovni proces. Projekt je temeljil na cilju izboljšanja zadovoljstva kupcev, ugodnejšemu delu zaposlenih na stroju, prav tako pa je pozitivno vplival na dodano vrednost podjetja.

Title:Improvement proposal for packaging line 2 in the production process of Impol PCP pipe mill: analysis, planning and implementation
Abstract:Today, every manufacturing process is part of the global market, and companies are forced to continuously improve the competitive capability of their work. One of the tools for improving or maintaining customer satisfaction is ensuring the quality of products. Due to the appearance of surface defects on the material during packaging and the physically demanding work of employees, the company decided to upgrade the packaging line. A manual packaging line was replaced by a semi-automated line. The section presents the company itself, the organization, and the process of upgrading packaging line 2. The discussion evaluates the results and explains the goals that have been achieved. The company is aware that the material flow on the line can still be increased. Solutions that would increase throughput and improve the workflow are also presented. The project was based on the goal of improving customer satisfaction, making the work of employees on the machine more favorable, and it also had
