Abstract:V diplomskem delu sta bila predstavljena proces razvoja tekstur s tehniko preslikave UV in praktična uporaba tekstur v računalniških igrah. Analizirane so bile tudi različne tehnike razvoja tekstur, njihovi procesi in načini uporabe. V diplomskem delu sta obravnavani še dve težavi, ki se pojavljata pri končnih teksturah. Raziskano je bilo, kako zelo sta ti težavi vplivali na uporabnika in kakšni so načini za njuno odpravo. V ta namen je bil izveden eksperiment, pri katerem je bila uporabljena 3D scena modelov s teksturo, ki vsebuje dve ključni tehnologiji: anizotropno filtriranje in mehčanje robov. V zaključku so bile povzete naše ugotovitve.

Title:Texture development with UV mapping technique: practical application in computer games
Abstract:In the thesis, the process of texture development with the UV mapping technique and the practical applications of textures in computer games was presented. Various techniques of texture development, their processes, and methods of application were then analyzed. Two issues that arise with final textures were addressed in the thesis and resolved. The extent to which these two issues affected the user and methods for their resolution were investigated. For this purpose, an experiment was conducted using a 3D scene of models with texture, incorporating two key technologies: anisotropic filtering and anti-aliasing. In the conclusion, our findings were summarized.
