Title:Spolno nasilje v sodobnem svetu : diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študijskega programa Varstvoslovje

Abstract:Spolno nasilje je izjemno pomemben družbeni problem. Je ena najhujših oblik diskriminacije žensk in močan instrument zatiranja žensk, ki ohranja neenakost spolov in s tem onemogoča razvoj družbe. Spolno nasilje je storjeno proti volji druge osebe ne glede na to, ali žrtev ni dala privolitve ali je storilec ni mogel pridobiti, ker gre za otroka ali šibko osebo. Vsekakor pa nikoli ne smemo pozabiti, da je spolno nasilje nasilno dejanje in ne nujno spolno dejanje. Gre za nasilje, ki ne vključuje le fizičnega napada, temveč kršitev človekovih osebnih intimnih in psihičnih meja. Obkrožajo ga številni miti in stereotipi, katerih namen je zmanjšati resnost doživetega nasilja, obtožiti žrtev, najti olajševalne okoliščine za storilce, skupni imenovalec večine teh mitov pa je globoko zakoreninjena neenakost spolov. Spolno nasilje nosi s seboj številne negativne konotacije, predvsem tiste, ki žrtev postavljajo na »sramotilni steber«. Obstaja veliko oblik spolnega nasilja. Novodobna oblika spolnega nasilja, povezana z vse večjo uporabo interneta, je kibernetsko spolno nasilje. Tovrstno nasilje še ni tako dobro raziskano kot klasične oblike spolnega nasilja, prizadene pa ravno najbolj šibke člane naše družbe, otroke in mladostnike. Kibernetsko okolje vsebuje svoje specifike, zaradi česar menimo, da bi se moralo razvijati več specifičnih preventivnih ukrepov in načinov za preprečevanje spolnega nasilja v tovrstnem okolju. V diplomskem delu smo ugotovili, da je velik pomen tudi v ozaveščanju in izobraževanju ljudi o spolnem nasilju in različnih oblikah le-tega. Na ta način bi se lahko tovrstno nasilje hitreje prepoznalo, kar bi lahko posledično pripeljalo tudi do več prijav. Prav tako pa bi se lahko v očeh družbe ovrgle stigme, povezane s spolnim nasiljem.

Title:Sexual violence in the modern world
Abstract:Sexual violence is an extremely important social problem. Sexual violence is one of the worst forms of discrimination against women and a powerful instrument of women's oppression that perpetuates gender inequality and thus prevents the development of society. Sexual violence is committed against the will of another person, regardless of whether the victim did not give consent or whether the perpetrator was unable to obtain it because the victim is a child or a weak person. In any case, it must never be forgotten that sexual violence is an act of violence, not an act of sex. It is violence that involves not only physical assault, but also the violation of a person's personal intimate and psychological boundaries. It is surrounded by many myths and stereotypes that aim to minimise the seriousness of the violence experienced, to blame the victim, to find mitigating circumstances for the perpetrators, and the common denominator of most of these myths is deep-rooted gender inequality. Sexual violence carries with it a number of negative connotations, especially those that place the victim on the ‘pillar of shame’. There are many forms of sexual violence. A new form of sexual violence, linked to the increasing use of the internet, is cyber sexual violence. This type of violence is not yet as well researched as traditional forms of sexual violence, but it affects the most vulnerable members of our society, children and adolescents. The cyber environment has its own specificities, which is why we believe that more specific preventive measures and ways of preventing sexual violence in this type of environment should be developed. In our thesis, we have identified that there is also a great importance in raising awareness and educating people about sexual violence and its various forms. In this way, this type of violence could be identified more quickly, which could in turn lead to more reporting. It could also help to dispel the stigma associated with sexual violence in the eyes of society.
