Abstract:Dravsko polje predstavlja eno od slovenskih regij z visokim pridelovalnim potencialom, kar je v času, ko je samooskrbnost z zdravo hrano strateškega pomena, izjemno pomembno. Kljub temu pa Dravsko polje predstavlja eno od bolj konfliktnih regij v Sloveniji, saj se tu odvijajo procesi, ki se med seboj izključujejo. Suburbanizacija je z gradnjo posegla tudi na najbolj kakovostna kmetijska območja, zato se delež obdelovalnih površin manjša. V prispevku so analizirani procesi spremembe rabe tal na Dravskem polju v obdobju med letoma 2000 in 2023. Prikazane so spremembe kategorij rabe tal na nivoju celotnega Dravskega polja in po katastrskih občinah. Posebej so prikazane tudi smeri spremembe rabe tal in proces ekstenzifikacije. Predstavljeni so procesi sprememb obdelovalnih površin na območjih, ki so izjemnega in zelo velikega pomena za kmetijstvo in pridelavo hrane.

Title:Land use changes on Dravsko polje region in the period 2000-2023
Abstract:Dravsko polje region represents one of the Slovenian regions with high production potential, which is extremely important at a time when self-sufficiency with healthy food is of strategic importance. Despite this, the Dravsko polje represents one of the more conflicted regions in Slovenia, as mutually exclusive processes take place here. Suburbanization has encroached on even the best quality agricultural areas through construction, which is why the share of arable land is decreasing. The paper analyzes the processes of land use change on the Dravsko polje in the period between 2000 and 2023. Changes in land use categories are shown at the level of the entire Dravsko polje and by cadastral municipalities. The directions of land use change and the process of extensification are also shown in particular. We also presented the processes of changes in arable land in areas that are of exceptional and very high importance for agriculture and food production.
