Abstract:Diplomska naloga obravnava izdelavo in nadzor navideznega procesa pretoka vode v rezervoarju. Glavni namen diplomske naloge je bil, kako nadzorovati virtualni industrijski proces z uporabo programskega okolja S7-PLCSIM in programskega okolja Factory I/O. Nato smo s programskim okoljem Siemens Step 7 napisali in prevedli program PLK ter virtualni PLK povezali z virtualnim procesom v programskem okolju Factory I/O.

Title:Development and monitoring of a virtual water flow process in tank using factory i/o and visualization through an hmi screen
Abstract:The thesis deals with the development and control of a virtual water flow process in a reservoir. The main objective of the thesis is to create a water flow process in a reservoir using the Siemens S7-PLCSIM programming environment, which enables the simulation of the programmable logic controller (PLC) operation, in combination with the Factory I/O software for designing, simulating, and managing the virtual industrial process. The main task of the thesis was to control the virtual industrial process using the S7-PLCSIM programming environment and the Factory I/O software. To accomplish this, we first designed the virtual industrial process in the Factory I/O programming environment, which included the reservoir and other additional elements. Then, using the Siemens Step 7 programming environment, we wrote and compiled the PLC program and connected the virtual PLC to the virtual process in the Factory I/O programming environment. This approach has the potential to provide manufacturers with a flexible and cost-effective way to optimize production processes.
