Abstract:
V magistrskem delu obravnavamo e-izobraževanje s področja kriptovalut. Za potrebe analize uporabnikov in spletnih platform na začetku predstavimo osnovne koncepte, kot so izobraževanje, e-izobraževanje, spletne platforme za izobraževanje o kriptovalutah in tehnologija veriženja blokov. V teoretičnem delu smo opisali vrste izobraževanj in ovire pri izobraževanju. V nadaljevanju smo opredelili prednosti in pomanjkljivosti e-izobraževanja in podrobneje analizirali spletne platforme za izobraževanje o kriptovalutah. Opredelili smo tudi zgodovino in uporabnost tehnologije veriženja blokov. V raziskovalnem delu smo ugotavljali, kaj uporabnike motivira ali ovira za izobraževanje o kriptovalutah, katere spletne platforme uporabniki pogosteje uporabljajo za osvojitev znanj o kriptovalutah, koliko znanja že imajo posamezniki o kriptovalutah in o tehnologiji veriženja blokov. Ugotovili smo, da med starostjo in zneskom, ki ga posameznik vlaga v izobraževanje o kriptovalutah, ni povezave, medtem ko pri vlaganju v tovrstno izobraževanje ni razlik glede na status zaposlitve. Nadalje smo potrdili, da se znanje o kriptovalutah razlikuje glede na spol podobno kot pogostost uporabe spletnih platform za izobraževanje o kriptovalutah pri spletnih družbenih omrežjih, spletnih straneh za izmenjavo video posnetkov in spletnih platformah za izmenjavo idej.

Title:
Cryptocurrency e-learning: analysis of users and online platforms
Abstract:
In this Master's thesis, we address e-learning in the field of cryptocurrencies. For the purpose of analysing users and online platforms, we start by introducing basic concepts such as education, e-learning, online platforms for cryptocurrency education and blockchain technology. In the theoretical part we describe the types of education and the barriers to education. We then identify the advantages and disadvantages of e-education and analyse online platforms for cryptocurrency education in more detail. We also outlined the history and applicability of blockchain technology. In the research part, we identified what motivates or hinders users to learn about cryptocurrencies, which online platforms users use more frequently to learn about cryptocurrencies, how much knowledge individuals already have about cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. We found that there is no correlation between age and the amount an individual invests in cryptocurrency education, while there is no difference in investment in cryptocurrency education by employment status. We further confirmed that cryptocurrency knowledge varies by gender, similar to the frequency of use of online platforms for cryptocurrency education for social networking sites, video sharing sites and online idea sharing platforms.
