Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava upravičenost investicije v balkonsko sončno elektrarno z močjo do 600 W. Z uporabo 15-minutnih podatkov o porabi električne energije za šest različnih porabnikov smo analizirali letno porabo električne energije.

Title:Eligibility of investment in the balcony photovoltaic system
Abstract:The thesis addresses the eligibility of investment in a balcony photovoltaic system with a power output up to 600 W. An analysis of the annual electricity consumption was performed using 15-minute consumption data from six different consumers. Data regarding the density of solar radiation on a horizontal surface, which were obtained from the online archive of automatic weather stations operated by the Environmental Agency of the Republic of Slovenia, were utilized to estimate the expected electricity production from the balcony photovoltaic system. Based on these data, the annual electricity consumption for all six consumers, resulting from the utilization of a balcony photovoltaic system, was calculated. Given the current prices of balcony photovoltaic system on the Slovenian market, which range between 600 and 1000 EUR, the payback period of the investment was determined. Furthermore, variations in the payback period of the investment were presented in relation to changes in high and low tariff electricity prices, as well as changes in electricity consumption.
