Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo se poglobili v raziskavo in analizo vloge umetne inteligence v upravljanju dobavne verige. V uvodnih poglavjih smo predstavili teoretično ozadje umetne inteligence, njen razvoj in uporabo v različnih industrijskih sektorjih.

Title:Analysis of the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in supply chain management
Abstract:In the diploma thesis, we delved into the research and analysis of the role of artificial intelligence in supply chain management. The introductory chapters – presented the theoretical background of artificial intelligence, its development, and its application in various industrial sectors. The core of the thesis focused on the connection between artificial intelligence and the supply chain and explored how artificial intelligence contributes to efficiency, optimization, and innovations in supply chain management. We took an in-depth look at the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on supply chains and examined how artificial intelligence helps companies adapt to change and overcome the challenges caused by the pandemic. We focused on various aspects of the use of artificial intelligence technologies, such as demand forecasting, logistics optimization, warehouse automation, and many others. We then delved into the ethical dilemmas and challenges of using this technology in the supply chain and discussed potential solutions and approaches to address them. Data analysis and case studies were used to present specific examples of the use of artificial intelligence in supply chain management, as well as the findings and results achieved through this technology. We concluded the thesis with a discussion of the findings and recommendations for the future use of this technology in the supply chain sector. Our analysis has shown that artificial intelligence holds significant potential for supply chain transformation and improvement, but that it's also essential to properly address the associated challenges and ethical dilemmas.
