Abstract:Univerzitetna učna okolja so predmet razvoja glede na potrebe časa in zastavljene programske ter prostorske strategije. V nalogi obravnavamo nastanek in razvoj Univerze v Mariboru, razvoj univerzitetnega kampusa ob Koroški cesti ter razvoj visokošolskih objektov v tem kampusu. Preučujemo pristope snovanja kampusov ter možnosti njihovih revitalizacij z aktivacijo notranjega in odprtega javnega prostora. Proučujemo sodobne pristope k oblikovanju prostorov v kampusih, njihove značilnosti in načine uporabe. Z izpostavljenim konceptom skrbi v arhitekturi, sledimo načelom snovanja sodobne učne krajine - zagotavljanju prostorov, ki bi bili v okviru fakultete lahko namenjeni različnim dejavnostim, uporabnikom in obiskovalcem kampusa. V projektnem delu naloge je predstavljena arhitekturna zasnova za novo stavbo Filozofske fakultete, kot vključujoče sodobne učne krajine kampusa.

Title:Faculty of arts as a contemporary educational environment of the university campus in Maribor
Abstract:University learning environments are subject to evolution according to the needs of the times and established programme and spatial strategies. This master’s thesis looks at the origins and development of the University of Maribor, the development of the university campus at Koroška Cesta and the development of higher education facilities on this campus. We examine approaches to campus design and the possibilities of revitalising the campus through the activation of interior and public open spaces. Contemporary approaches to the design of campus spaces with their characteristics and uses were explored. By emphasising the concept of care in architecture, we follow the principles of designing a contemporary learning environment - providing spaces that can be used for different activities, users and visitors to the campus within the faculty. The project part of the thesis presents the architectural design for the new Faculty of Arts building as an inclusive, contemporary learning landscape on the campus.
