Abstract:
V literaturi so opisani tradicionalni pristopi, v katere sodijo poučevanje, problemsko učenje, seminarji in mentorstvo.

Title:
Medication administration safety in nursing education
Abstract:
Introduction: Medication administration safety among nursing students is of the utmost importance. During medication preparation and administration by nursing students, various errors can occur. Errors can be prevented and reduced using appropriate approaches for teaching nursing students. The purpose of this diploma thesis was to explore the teaching of medication administration safety in nursing education. Methods: A literature review was conducted. The literature search was performed in international databases ScienceDirect, PubMed, Medline, CINAHL and Cochrane library. The literature review process is shown in the PRISMA diagram. Evidence was assessed using evidence hierarchy. A content analysis was conducted. Results: Numerous educational approaches exist in the field of medication administration safety. Tradition teaching approaches have been described in the literature, which include teaching, problem-based learning, seminars and mentorship. Teaching with simulations is also important, where students have the opportunity to make errors and learn from them, without compromising patient safety. Discussion and conclusion: A combination of traditional and simulation approaches could increase medication administration safety among nursing students. It is necessary to further research and test new approaches, which include virtual reality.
