Title:Opažanja vzgojiteljev glede pomena okolja za razvoj otrokove samostojnosti : magistrsko delo

Abstract:Namen magistrskega dela Opažanja vzgojiteljev glede pomena okolja za razvoj otrokove samostojnosti je preveriti opažanja vzgojiteljev mariborskega montessori vrtca »Hiša otrok« glede pomena okolja za razvoj otrokove samostojnosti. Termin okolje je izjemno širok pojem, saj zajema različne vrste okolij, kot so kulturno, versko, socialno, družinsko, institucionalno ipd. V magistrskem delu smo se osredotočili na okolje, zasnovano po metodi montessori. V teoretičnem delu smo razložili pojem samostojnost predšolskih otrok, na kratko opisali potek razvoja samostojnosti ter povzeli glavne značilnosti razvoja samostojnosti predšolskih otrok na področju telesno-gibalnega, spoznavnega in socialno-čustvenega razvoja. V nadaljevanju smo opisali vpliv okolja in vpliv odraslega, ki sta medsebojno neločljivo povezana. Ker smo se osredotočili na montessori okolje, smo na koncu opredelili še montessori pedagogiko ter vlogo montessori okolja. V empiričnem delu smo z uporabo deskriptivne in kavzalno-neeksperimentalne metode pedagoškega raziskovanja naredili raziskavo in prikazali ugotovitve, da vzgojitelji montessori vrtca na podlagi opažanj verjamejo v okolje pripravljeno po montessori metodi kot spodbujajoče za razvoj otrokove želje po neodvisnosti, za razvoj socialno-čustvene samostojnosti ter za razvoj govornih sposobnosti. Analiza pridobljenih podatkov je pokazala tudi, da vzgojitelji ocenjujejo omogočanje samostojnosti kot najpomembnejši dejavnik okolja za razvoj samostojnosti predšolskega otroka ter opažajo pozitiven vpliv usklajenosti vrtčevskega in družinskega okolja.

Title:Preschool Teachers' Observations on the Importance of the Environment for the Development of a Child's Independence
Abstract:The purpose of the master's thesis Preschool Teachers' Observations on the Importance of the Environment for the Development of a Child's Independence is to examine the observations of the educators of the Maribor Montessori kindergarten "Children's House" regarding the importance of the environment for the development of a child's independence. The term environment is an extremely broad concept as it covers different types of environments, such as cultural, religious, social, family, institutional, etc. In the master's thesis, we focused on the environment designed according to the Montessori method. In the theoretical part, we explained the concept of independence in preschool children, briefly described the course of independence development, and summarized the main characteristics of the development of independence of preschool children in the field of physical-motor, cognitive, and socio-emotional development. In the following, we described the influence of the environment and the influence of the adult, which are mutually inseparable. Since we focused on the Montessori environment, we also defined the Montessori pedagogy and the role of the Montessori environment at the end. In the empirical part, we conducted research using the descriptive and causal-non-experimental method of pedagogical research and showed the ascertainment that, based on observations, the Montessori preschool teachers believe in the environment designed according to the Montessori method as encouraging for the development of the child's desire for independence, for the development of social-emotional independence, and for the development of speaking skills. The analysis of the obtained data also showed that the preschool teachers evaluate the enabling of independence as the most important factor of the environment for the development of the preschool child's independence and observe a positive influence of the harmonization of the kindergarten and family environment.
