Tekom diplomske naloge bomo primerjali sistem vzgoje in izobraževanja Slovenije in Anglije ter v kurikulih preverili prisotnost vsebin s področja socialnega razvoja otroka. Title:The impact of early schooling on children's social development in Slovenia and England
Abstract:The functioning of kindergartens varies from country to country, so in this thesis we studiedthe differences between kindergartens in Slovenia and England. The aim of the thesis is to study the impact of early schooling on children's social development in these two European countries. More specifically, the aim is to increase the knowledge of socialisation through different sources in general and to explore the social development of children. The thesis also deals with the concepts of education and socialisation and the importance of kindergartens for children's social development. In the course of the thesis, we will compare the educational systems of Slovenia and England and examine the extent to which content on children's social development is included in the curricula. Based on interviews with kindergarten professionals from both Slovenia and England, we will review their views and opinions on this topic. We will examine the role of kindergarten in the social development of the child and address the issue of early schooling. In the empirical part, we conducted interviews with kindergarten teachers from both countries. 10 kindergarten teachers from each country participated in the study. The findings of the study are presented at the end of the thesis.
