Abstract:

Title:
Motoric versatility development in U-7 team
Abstract:
As coaches, we have to pay attention and focus on motoric versatility, which is one of the most important areas with younger football players. The greatest progress in motor skills can be made between the ages of 6 and 9. That is why correct structure and training content are so important, in order to take advantage of the maximum possible progress and proportionally also the proper development of the child. Child development is a very complex process that takes place in several areas and must be followed in chronological order. Motor, cognitive, emotional and social development intertwine. With young football players, the coach must be aware of the problems of early specialisation and its negative consequences, as most of the consequences are visible later in the sports career. The aim of this thesis is to present the motoric and functional abilities, the characteristics of child development and the problems of early specialisation in the theoretical part. In the second part I will focus on the presentation of different methods of motoric versatility development in the U-7 age group. The annual work plan and some training sessions for this age category will also be presented. Exercises and trainings will be presented graphically with the program Tactics Manager 4.0, for easier understanding.
