Title:Motivation and job satisfaction
Abstract:Motivation and job satisfaction are two concepts that appear frequently in the business world. Even though this is an area that has been researched many times, managers of organisations still wonder how to motivate their employees and improve their job satisfaction. Fort his reason, our thesis aimed to explore this area and determine the importance of fifteen motivation factors in a selected company. To collect the data, we used the Work Motivation Scale, which was used to rank the motives in order of importance. We found that the majority of employees in the selected company are motivated, but we could not prove that there are differences between gender and motivation and age and motivation. The results showed that employees in the company would like to be more motivated by salary in the future and to have more oportunities for professional development. The company did not have any information on employee motivation before, so the results of the survey are relevant for further actions in the area of employee motivation in selected company.
