Abstract:
Uvod: Spolno nasilje nad starejšimi osebami predstavlja problematiko, o kateri se do nedavnega ni veliko govorilo. Gre za situacijo, ki pri starejših odraslih ostaja zapostavljena v raziskavah, politiki in praksi. Natančnejši podatki o razširjenosti še niso na voljo, posledično še ni oblikovan natančen pristop k njenemu preprečevanju. Namen diplomskega dela je raziskati spolno nasilje nad starejšimi osebami v socialnovarstvenih ustanovah. Metode: V diplomskem delu smo pregledali literaturo na temo spolnega nasilja nad starejšimi osebami v socialnovarstvenih ustanovah. Literaturo smo iskali v mednarodnih podatkovnih bazah PubMed, CINAHL in Science Direct. Zastavili smo si vključitvene in izključitvene kriterije. Prikaz iskanja literature smo prikazali z diagramom PRISMA. Uporabili smo deskriptivno metodo dela. Rezultati: Skupno številno identificiranih zadetkov je znašalo 455, od katerih smo 6 raziskav vključili v končno analizo. Raziskave poudarjajo pomen izobraževanja, ustrezne komunikacije in opazovanja kot preventivne intervencije. Razprava in zaključek: Po pregledu literature smo razbrali, da gre za neprijetne dogodke, za katere se od medicinske sestre pričakuje vseživljenjsko učenje in s tem povezano izpopolnjevanje v preventivnih intervencijah. Le z zrelostjo, znanjem in komunikacijskimi sposobnostmi je možno konstruktivno reševati spolno nasilje.

Title:
Sexual violence against the elderly in social care institution
Abstract:
Introduction: Sexual violence against the elderly is a problem that was not talked about much until recently. It is a situation that remains neglected in research, policy and practice in older adults. Accurate data on the prevalence is unavailable, so a precise approach to its prevention has not been developed yet. The final work is aimed to investigate sexual violence against elderly people in social care institutions. Methods: In the final work, we reviewed the scientific literature on sexual violence against older adults in a social care institutions. Literature was searched in international databases PubMed, CINAHL and Science Direct. Inclusion and exclusion criteria were set. The results of the literature search were shown using the PRISMA diagram. We used a descriptive method of work. Results: The total number of articles was 455, of which six were included in the review. Research highlights the importance of education, appropriate communication and observation as preventive interventions. Discussion and conclusion: After reviewing the literature, we understood that it is an unpleasant matter for which lifelong learning is expected from the nurse and the related fulfilment of preventive interventions. Only with maturity, knowledge and communication skills can it constructively solve sexual violence constructively.
