V zaključnem delu smo uporabili deskriptivno metodo, upoštevani so bili vključitveni in izključitveni kriteriji. Potek iskanja smo prikazali s pomočjo PRISMA diagrama.

Title:The impact of postpartum depression on breastfeeding exclusively
Abstract:One of the triggers is exclusive breastfeeding, which is a key diet for the first 6 months of a child's life. The aim of this thesis is to investigate the impact of postnatal depression on exclusive breastfeeding. Methods: the final work was prepared by literature review. The literature was collected from three databases ( PubMed, CINAHL, ScienceDirekt ). The descriptive method was used in the final work, inclusion and exclusion criteria were taken into account. The search process was illustrated using a PRISMA diagram. Results: 329 sources were identified in total across all databases, of which 6 were included in the analysis. The analysis is shown in the table below, and a synthesis table showing the common characteristics of the studies was used for the synthesis. Discussion and conclusion: Most studies found a bidirectional association between exclusive breastfeeding and postnatal depression. It is important that health professionals recognise the signs of postnatal depression and try to prevent them. It is crucial to make the signs and symptoms of postnatal depression and the importance of exclusive breastfeeding known to the childbearing women. Women should be aware that if they experience any symptoms they can contact their GP, gynaecologist or other health professionals.
