Abstract:Najpomembnejša naloga naše generacije je ohraniti planet, da bodo naši zanamci dihali svež zrak, pili čisto vodo in živeli v normalni temperaturi.
Keywords:Vetrna energija, vetrne elektrarne, hitrost vetra, realizirana proizvodnja električne energije, napovedovanje.

Title:Electricity production forecast from wind power plants based on weather data
Abstract:The most important task of our generation is to preserve the planet so that our descendants will breathe fresh air, drink clean water and live in a normal temperature of the environment. The electricity supply will play one of the key roles in this. The European Union (EU) is also working hard to achieve as much climate neutrality as possible by investing a lot of time and money in the so-called green breakthrough. As a result, renewable energy sources (RES) represent an ever-increasing share of our electricity supply. However, it is important to realize that more that our electricity is supplied from weather-dependent energy sources such as wind and sun, more fluctuates the operation of the electricity grid and more important the forecasting of wind energy production becomes.
Keywords:Wind energy, wind farms, wind speed, realized electricity production, forecasting.
