Abstract:V tem diplomskem delu smo razložili, kako porabniki zaznavajo tveganje. Nato smo opisali vsa različna hranila, razložili, katera hranila poznamo, podali zanje primere in razložili, zakaj so pomembna. Nadaljevali smo z razlago potrebe telesa po hranilnih snoveh in našteli ter razložili parametre vitalnosti. Poglavje o zdravi in uravnoteženi prehrani smo zaključili z negativnimi posledicami nezdrave in neuravnotežene prehrane. Sledil je podroben opis vrst in namena določenega prehranskega dopolnila ter njihovih pojavnih oblik. Pojasnili smo tudi možne stranske učinke in komu so dopolnila namenjena. V zadnjem, raziskovalnem delu smo analizirali odgovore petdesetih anketiranih študentov. Ugotovili smo, da večina študentov prepozna prehranska dopolnila, 80 % študentov je prehransko dopolnilo že zaužilo. Najpogosteje uporabljajo sirotkine beljakovine in magnezij.

Title:Analysis of dietary supplements consumption among students of University of Maribor
Abstract:In this thesis, we have explained how consumers perceive risk. We then described all the different nutrients, explained which nutrients we know about, gave examples of them and explained why they are important. We went on to explain the body's need for nutrients and listed and explained the parameters of vitality. We concluded the chapter on healthy and balanced diets with the negative consequences of unhealthy and unbalanced diets. This was followed by a detailed description of the types and purpose of the specific food supplements and their forms. We also explained the possible side effects and for whom the supplements are intended. In the final, exploratory part, we analysed the answers of the 50 students interviewed. We found that most students recognise dietary supplements and 80% of students have taken a dietary supplement. The most used supplements are whey protein and magnesium. The vast majority of students think they would recommend food supplements to family, friends and acquaintances. Students neither agree nor disagree that substances in conventional foods have the same properties as those in food supplements. Regarding information on food supplements, students consider doctors to be the most credible source.
