Abstract:Nogomet je zmeraj spadal med najbolj priljubljene športe na svetu, danes pa zanj pravimo, da je postal več kot le šport. Postal je namreč velik posel, v katerem se obrača ogromno denarja. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela smo proučevali, katere so posebnosti analiziranja poslovanja slovenskih nogometnih klubov v primerjavi s pridobitnimi podjetji, kakšne so lastniške strukture klubov, kakšna je njihova sestava prihodkov in kakšne so dozdajšnje izkušnje klubov z vstopom tujega kapitala v slovenski nogomet. V nadaljevanju diplomskega dela smo s pomočjo različnih kazalcev in kazalnikov podrobno analizirali poslovanje treh najbolj izpostavljenih slovenskih klubov NK Maribor, NK Olimpija in NŠ Mura in s tem ponudili številne informacije novim potencialnim investitorjem ter nogometnim analitikom. Primerjalna analiza nam je ponudila odgovor na vprašanje, kateri izmed proučevanih slovenskih klubov je imel v obdobju 2017–2020 najuspešnejše poslovanje z vidika novih potencialnih investitorjev.

Title:Slovenian football clubs business analysis for the period from 2017 to 2020
Abstract:Football has always been one of the most popular sports in the world, and nowadays, it has become more than just a sport; it has become a business that turns a huge amount of money. In the theoretical part of the thesis, we examined the specific features of analyzing the business of Slovenian football clubs compared to for-profit companies, the ownership structures of the clubs, the composition of their revenues, and the experience of the clubs with the inflow of foreign capital into Slovenian football. In the following part of the diploma thesis, we have analyzed the business of the three most prominent Slovenian clubs: NK Maribor, NK Olimpija, and NŠ Mura, using various indicators and metrics to provide a variety of information for new potential investors and football analysts. The benchmarking analysis provided an answer to which one of the studied Slovenian clubs had the most successful business performance in the period from 2017 to 2020 from the perspective of new potential investors.
