Title:Zdravstveno pogojena kakovost življenja pacienta po odstranitvi možganskega tumorja

Abstract:Uvod: Možganski tumor je posledica nenormalnega razvoja možganskih celic. Za zdravljenje možganskega tumorja se v večini primerov poslužujejo kirurške operacije, ki ima vpliv na bolnikovo kakovost življenja po njej. Namen zaključnega dela je ugotoviti zdravstveno pogojeno kakovost življenja pri pacientu po odstranitvi možganskega tumorja. Metode: Pri izdelavi zaključnega dela smo izvedli pregled literature in uporabili deskriptivno metodo dela. Gradivo smo poiskali v podatkovnih bazah PubMed, Cinahl in Sage ter potek iskanja prikazali v diagramu PRISMA. Pregledali in analizirali smo strokovno in znanstveno literaturo ter določili nivoje dokazov izbranim člankom. Rezultati: V končno analizo smo vključili 9 člankov. Na podlagi izbranih virov smo ugotovili, da je kakovost življenja pacienta po odstranitvi možganskega tumorja pomembno prizadeta, kar se kaže na fizičnem, psihičnem in socialnem področju. Prizadete so kognitivne funkcije bolnika, vključno s spominom, pozornostjo, hitrostjo obdelave podatkov, izvršilno funkcijo in delovnim spominom, zaznati je tudi pojav depresije in anksioznosti. Kakovost življenja je lahko prizadeta od 1 meseca in vse do 120 mesecev po operaciji. Razprava in zaključek: Zaradi težav, ki se pojavijo po odstranitvi možganskega tumorja, lahko trdimo, da se poslabša zdravstveno pogojena kakovost življenja pacienta. Pomembno vlogo ima zdravstveno osebje, ki z ustreznimi intervencijami, izobraževanjem in podporo pacientu in svojcem pomaga izboljšati nadaljnjo kakovost življenja.

Title:The patient´s health related quality of life after brain tumor removal
Abstract:Introduction: Brain tumor is caused by abnormal development of brain cells. To treat a brain tumor, surgical operations are used in most cases, which have an impact on the quality opatients' lives. The purpose of final work was to determine the health status and quality of the patient's life after removal of the brain tumor. Methods: In preparing the final work, we performed a systematic review of the literature and used a descriptive method of work. We searched for the material in the databases, such as PubMed, Cinahl and Sage and showed the search process in the PRISMA diagram. We reviewed and analyzed the professional and scientific literature and determined the levels of evidence of selected articles. Results: 9 articles were included in the final analysis. Based on the selected sources we have prepared the quality of the patient's life after the removal of a brain tumor that is significantly affected is indicative of the physical, mental and social areas. The patient's cognitive functions, including memory, attention, data processing speed, executive function and working memory are affected, and depression and anxiety are detected. Quality of life can be affected for 1 month and up to 120 months after surgery. Discussion: Because of the problems at the end of life after the removal of a brain tumor, we argue that this may be a medical condition of the patient. Healthcare professionals are important to help improve their further quality of life through appropriate interventions, education and supportive patients.
