Potek iskanja smo prikazali v diagramu PRISMA. Literaturo smo iskali v podatkovnih bazah PubMed, Science Direct in CINAHL&Medline.

Title:Occurrence of suicidal thoughts during the covid-19 pandemic among health care workers
Abstract:Introduction: Coronavirus is a contagious disease that has brought many health, social and economic changes worldwide since its first outbreak in 2019. It had a significant impact on the mental health of health workers during the pandemic. Healthcare workers are at high risk of developing suicidal thoughts due to their direct involvement in the care of patients with COVID 19. The purpose of the final work was to investigate the occurrence of suicidal thoughts during the COVID-19 pandemic in healthcare workers. Methods: For the preparation of the final work, we used a systematic review, critical and thematic analysis and synthesis of literature on the occurrence of suicidal thoughts during the COVID-19 pandemic in healthcare workers. The course of the search was shown in the prism diagram. Literature was searched in PubMed, Science Direct and CINAHL and Medline databases. Results: In the final analysis, we included eight articles that met the criteria. The COVID-19 pandemic has been found to have many consequences on the mental health of healthcare professionals. Suicidal ideation, suicidal behaviour, depression, sleep disturbances, burnout, and workplace stress during a pandemic have been reported. Discussion and conclusion: During the COVID-19 pandemic, an increased incidence of suicidal thoughts were detected among healthcare workers. The occurrence of suicidal thoughts can be prevented if, in a crisis, we take care of the proper maintenance of medical staff, especially in mental health.
