Abstract:V diplomski nalogi bo predstavljena problematika razogljičenja družbe v prihodnosti. Tukaj imajo ključno vlogo razvite jedrske elektrarne. Zaradi elektrifikacije družbe bo potreba po elektriki vse večja, kar predstavlja dodaten izziv. Za zagotavljanje zanesljivega in fleksibilnega energetskega omrežja v prihodnosti Slovenije je po raziskavah najboljši scenarij z upoštevanjem jedrske energije in obnovljivih virov energije.

Title:Developed nuclear power plants and electricity market needs in the future
Abstract:The diploma thesis will present the issue of decarbonisation of socitey in the future. This includes all prescribed measures to reduce the carbon footprint in the World, especially in the field of energy production. An important role in the future, as well as today, is played by nuclear power plants and advanced nuclear systems, which, combined with renewable resources, enable socitey to move towards a carbon-free society. The needs of the energy market in future will require a stable, reliable and at the same time flexible energy systems, here developed nuclear power plants play a key role. Due to the electrification of society, the need for electricity will increase, which poses an additional challenge. According to research, the best scenario for ensuring a reliable and flexible energy network in the future of Slovenia, is taking into account nuclear energy and renewable resources.
Keywords:nuclear power plants, electrical energy, decarbonatization, renewable resources
