Abstract:
Obsesije so vezane na infekcijo, mikroorganizme, kontaminacijo. Najpogostejši kompulziji sta ekscesivno umivanje rok in čiščenje.

Title:
The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the incidence of obsessive compulsive disorder in adolescents
Abstract:
Introduction: Obsessive compulsive disorder is a mental disorder that most commonly occurs in adolescents. During the COVID-19 pandemic, experts reported an increasing psychosocial impact of COVID-19 disease and possible consequences, which will be reflected mainly in the mental field of health. In the thesis, we were interested whether the COVIDA19 pandemic affected the incidence of obsessive compulsive disorder in adolescents. Methods: To review the professional literature on the impact of the COVIDA-19 pandemic on the incidence of obsessive compulsive disorder, we systematically reviewed the scientific literature. We followed the PRISMA guidelines and ranked the articles according to the hierarchy of evidence and critically evaluated them with the JBI tool. The synthesis was made after thematic analysis and the characteristics are presented in the table. Search bases were: CINAHL, PubMed, Medline, APA PsycArticles. We used a descriptive method of writing. Results: The COVID-19 pandemic increased obsessive compulsive disorder in adolescents. Obsessions are related to infection, microorganisms, contamination. The most common compulsions are excessive hand washing and cleaning. Factors that influenced the development of obsessive compulsive disorder in the pandemic are: social isolation, depression, anxiety, fear of infection, infectious environment. Discussion and conclusion: The COVID-19 pandemic is a causative factor in the rise of obsessive compulsive disorder in adolescents. Therefore, proper research in this area is crucial in helping individuals with this type of disease.
