Title:Vpliv IKT na pomnjenje pri učencih na primeru Doživljajskega parka Vulkanija : magistrsko delo

Abstract:V magistrskem delu smo proučevali, kako raba IKT vpliva na pomnjenje pri učencih, in sicer na primeru Doživljajskega parka Vulkanija. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili doživljajsko pedagogiko, rabo IKT v poučevanju, Doživljajski park Vulkanija in vsebine, ki jih ta ponuja, ter učne načrte predmetov naravoslovje in geografija. V empiričnem delu smo s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika izvedli raziskavo med učenci 6. in 9. razredov, ki so obiskali Doživljajski park Vulkanija, in med tistimi, ki ga niso. Ugotavljali smo, kako raba IKT vpliva na pomnjenje pri učencih, in ker smo anketo čez pol leta ponovili, smo preverili tudi, ali predstavitev določenega učnega sklopa s pomočjo IKT pomaga, da učenci znanje zadržijo dlje. Preverjali smo poznavanje planetov, zgradbe Zemlje, vulkanizma ter kamnin in mineralov in ugotovili, da v omenjenih sklopih boljše rezultate dosegajo učenci, ki snov prejmejo s pomočjo IKT, v našem primeru v Doživljajskem parku Vulkanija, kot tisti, ki so znanje pridobili pri klasičnem pouku v šoli. Prav tako smo ugotovili, da učenci, ki so obiskali Doživljajski park Vulkanija, usvojeno znanje zadržijo dlje kot tisti, ki v parku niso bili. Rezultati so posledica tega, da si posameznik lažje zapomni podatke, ki jih prejme na interaktiven način in skozi lastno doživetje.

Title:The impact of ICT on pupils memorizing on the example of the Vuklanija Adventure Park
Abstract:This work addresses the impact of ICT on pupils memorizing on the example of the Vulkanija Adventure Park. In the first part of our thesis, we introduce experiential pedagogy, the use of ICT in the learning process, the Vulkanija Adventure Park, the content this park introduces, and the Natural science and Geography syllabi. In the empirical part of the thesis, we carried out the research among the students in 6th and 9th grade using a survey questionnaire. We compared pupils that visited the Vulkanija Adventure Park with those who did not. We carried out an analysis of the impact of ICT on memorizing, and as we repeated the survey in six months, we put the emphasis on analyzing whether ICT affects pupils’ knowledge retention. We tested their knowledge about planets, the structure of the Earth, volcanism, rocks and minerals. The results prove that pupils who were taught with the use of ICT, in our case this was in the Vulkanija Adventure Park, performed better in every tested category compared to the pupils who have learned about the topic in school. Moreover, we figured out that the Vulkanija Adventure park helped learners to maximize knowledge retention. The results prove that interactive and experiential learning promote memorizing and knowledge retention.
