Abstract:V magistrski nalogi so predstavljeni razvoj in rezultati večkriterijske topološke optimizacije za pridobitev novih 2D avksetičnih struktur.

Title:Development of New 2D Auxetic Structures using Multiobjective Topology Optimization
Abstract:The master's thesis presents the development and results of multiobjective topology optimization for the acquisition of new 2D auxetic structures. Auxetic structure loaded with external force was considered as a compliant (flexible) mechanism. Multiobjective topology optimization, based on genetic algorithm and the finite element method, was used to find the optimal topology of the 2D auxetic structure. The optimization domain was reduced to a quarter of the double-symmetric representative unit cell, which is a building block of the periodical auxetic structure. The mechanical response of the topologies was determined by linear-elastic simulations. The result of the muliobjective optimization is a set of solutions, where the best solutions are defined by the Pareto front. Pareto front represents a set of the best solutions that provide design guidelines for further development of auxetic structures.
