Abstract:Diplomska naloga v splošnem predstavlja kinematično analizo povsem-vzmetenega gorskega kolesa. Pri tem so bili preučeni in ovrednoteni tipi povsem-vzmetenih gorskih koles in njihovi značilni vzmetni sistemi. Predstavljen je bil glavni princip delovanja, na katerem temeljijo moderna povsem-vzmetena gorska kolesa. Prav tako so bile raziskane in ovrednotene različne moderne zasnove obes. Sledila je izbira vsestranskega tipa povsem-vzmetenega gorskega kolesa z značilno zasnovo obese in vzmetnim sistemom. S pomočjo orodja Linkage X3 je bila za izbrano kolo izpeljana kinematična analiza, kjer so bile ovrednotene glavne kinematične karakteristike vzmetenja. Kolo je bilo ovrednoteno tudi glede zmogljivosti poganjanja in zaviranja.

Title:Gas suspension of a full-suspension mountain bike
Abstract:In general, the thesis presents a kinematic analysis of a fully-suspended mountain bike. In this context, the types of fully-suspended mountain bikes and their characterstic suspension systems were studied and evaluated. The main operating principle behind modern fully-suspedned mountain bikes was presented. Different modern hang desings were also investigated and evaluated. Then came the choice of a versatile type of fully-suspended mountain bike with a distinctive suspension design and suspension system. Using Linkage X3, a kinematic analysis was carried out on the selected bike to evaluate the main kinematic characteristics of the suspension. The bike was also evaluated for pedalling and braking performance.
