Title:Prednosti in slabosti šolanja na daljavo v času covid-19 epidemije: vidik dijakov srednjega strokovnega izobraževanja

Abstract:Uvod: Epidemija covid-19 je v Sloveniji povzročila zaprtje šol in prehod na pouk na daljavo, ki je trajal 23 tednov. Namen raziskave je bil raziskati vidik dijakov srednjega strokovnega izobraževanja o prednostih in slabostih šolanja na daljavo v tem času. Metode: Uporabljena je bila kvantitativna metoda dela. Izvedena je bila presečna opazovalna raziskava. Instrument raziskovanja je bil anketni vprašalnik, ki ga je ustrezno izpolnilo 268 dijakov. Podatki so bili analizirani z deskriptivno in inferenčno statistiko. Statistična obdelava podatkov je bila opravljena s statističnim programom IBM SPSS, V25.0. Rezultati: Analiza rezultatov je pokazala, da obstaja statistično značilna razlika v splošnem doživljanju pouka v času šolanja na daljavo med dijaki glede na letnik šolanja (F = 4,395, p = 0,013) ter statistično pomembna povezava med ohranjanjem socialnih stikov med šolanjem na daljavo in učinkovitostjo učenja (R = 0,414; p ˂ 0,001). Statistično pomembne povezave med uporabo informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije in učinkovitostjo učenja nismo potrdili (R = 0,091; p = 0,137). Kot največja prednost šolanja na daljavo se je pokazalo učinkovitejše upravljanje s časom, slabost pa pomanjkanje praktičnega pouka in socialnih stikov s sošolci. Razprava in sklep: Naše ugotovitve kažejo, da si dijaki kljub navajanju nekaterih prednosti šolanja na daljavo želijo pouka v učilnici, praktičnih vaj, sodelovanja s sošolci ter razlago učitelja. Dobrodošlo bi bilo, da bi se na nacionalnem nivoju pripravile strategije soočanja s predvidljivimi posledicami epidemije pri mladostnikih.

Title:Advantages and disadvantages of distance learning during the covid-19 epidemic: the aspect of secondary vocational education students
Abstract:Introduction: Covid-19 pandemic in Slovenia resulted in complete school closure and online learning for 23 weeks. The aim of the research was to discuss the advantages and the disadvantages of online learning in secondary level education. Methods: Quantitative research method was used and cross-sectional observational survey was conducted. The survey questionnaire, answered by 268 students, was used as a research instrument. Data was analysed with descriptive and inferential statistic techniques, and processed with statistical analysis software IMB SPSS, V25.0. Results: Data analysis has shown that there is a significant statistical difference in students' general learning experience during the time of school closure, regarding the year of schooling (F=4,395, p= 0,013) and also a statistically significant correlation between maintaining social contacts and learning efficiency (R= 0,414; p ˂ 0, 001). Statistically important correlation between the use of ICT and learning efficiency was not confirmed (R = 0,091, p = 0,137). The results show that the most important advantage of on-line learning is time management; and lack of practice and social contacts is the greatest disadvantage. Discussion and conclusion: Our findings show that most students prefer classroom teaching, practice lessons, social contacts and face-to-face teaching over distant learning. Therefore, a national strategic post-Covid recovery plan for young population would be recommended.
