Abstract:
Najpogosteje poročajo o simptomih anksioznosti, depresivnosti, osamljenosti, stresu, nespečnosti, vedenjskih in odnosnih težavah. Razprava in sklep: rizični dejavniki za razvoj in povečanje psihičnih težav mladostnikov v času pandemije COVID-19 so predhodne težave z duševnim zdravjem, ženski spol, enostarševska družina, nizek dohodek družine mladostnika in učne težave.

Title:
Mental health of adolescents during the covid-19 pandemic
Abstract:
Introduction: Since March 2020, a pandemic of the coronavirus disease COVID-19 has been declared, which is spreading by the aerogenic pathway. The pandemic can be managed through strict measures such as restricting social contacts, wearing a mask and disinfecting hands, which has a major impact on the mental health of adolescents. Methods: With the help of the PRISMA diagram, we presented the process of selecting relevant literature in the field of adolescent mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the help of thematic analysis, we analysed 12 scientific articles written in the period from December 2019 to October 2021. Results: Research results show that the mental health of adolescents deteriorated during the COVID-19 pandemic. Symptoms of anxiety, depression, loneliness, stress, insomnia, behavioural and relationship problems are most commonly reported. Discussion and conclusion: Risk factors for the development and increase of adolescent psychological problems during the COVID-19 pandemic include previous mental health problems, female gender, single-parent family, low-income adolescent family, and learning difficulties. We further suggest additional attention by researchers in examining correlations between different sociodemographic variables and adolescent mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic, and several longitudinal studies to understand the interactions between psychological constructs in adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic, and several longitudinal studies to understand the interactions between psychological constructs in adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic.
