Title:Kriminalna prevencija na kmetijah v podravski regiji : magistrsko delo

Abstract:V magistrskem delu smo preučevali kriminaliteto na kmetijah in njeno preprečevanje v odnosu s policijskim delom na podeželju. Samemu preučevanju kriminalitete in kriminalne prevencije na podeželju se je že od začetka posvečalo premalo pozornosti, saj to velja za mirno in urejeno območje, kjer se izvrševanje kaznivih dejanj ne dogaja. Zaradi nenehnega tehnološkega in informacijskega napredka so napredovala tudi podeželska območja in kmetije ter tako postale privlačne tarče. V Sloveniji tovrstna kriminaliteta še ni podrobno raziskana in je šele v razvoju, medtem ko imajo nekatere države sveta posebne policijske enote izključno za delo na podeželju. Na začetku smo opisali slovensko podeželje in kmetijstvo, nato pa smo podrobno razčlenili razsežnosti kmetijske kriminalitete in kriminalne prevencije, zlasti na kmetijah. Osredotočili smo se tudi na izvajanje policijskega dela na podeželju. Na koncu smo na podlagi rezultatov raziskave ugotovili, da bi policija pri preprečevanju kaznivih dejanj, storjenih na podeželju, morala poskrbeti za več naključnih patrulj oz. fizične prisotnosti, imeti več osebnega stika s kmeti ter odločneje ukrepati glede tatvin premoženja. Med uporabljenimi preventivnimi ukrepi je najpogostejši zaklepanje hiše, ko ni nikogar doma, zaklepanje avtomobilov in prisotnost psa čuvaja. Glede na to, da so vsi anketiranci obkrožili vsaj en preventivni ukrep, nismo mogli preveriti, ali med izvajalci in neizvajalci preventivnih ukrepov prihaja do razlik med stališči zaupanja v policijsko delo. Zaključimo lahko, da količina preventivnih ukrepov ni povezana z zaupanjem in pravičnostjo policije na lokalnem območju in zadovoljstvom s kakovostjo izvajanja policijskega dela na lokalnem območju ter spola.

Title:Criminal prevention on farms in the podravska region
Abstract:In the master's thesis, we studied crime on farms and its prevention in relation to police work in rural areas. From the very beginning, too little attention has been paid to the study of crime and crime prevention in rural areas, as these are considered peaceful and orderly areas where crime is not committed. Due to constant technological and informational progress, rural areas and farms have also progressed, thus becoming attractive spots. In Slovenia, this type of crime has not yet been investigated in detail and is still in development, while some countries around the world have special police units exclusively for work in rural areas. At the beginning, we described the Slovenian rural areas and agriculture, and then we analysed in detail the dimensions of agricultural crime and crime prevention, especially on farms. We also focused on implementation of police work in rural areas. Lastly, based on the results of the research, we found that the police should take care of several random patrols or physical presence, have more personal contact with farmers and take more decisive action against property thefts in order to prevent crimes committed in rural areas. Among the preventive measures used, the most common are locking the house when no one is home, locking cars and the presence of a guard dog. Given that all respondents circled at least one preventive measure, we were not able to verify whether there are differences in opinion on trust in police work between performers and non-performers of preventive measures. We can conclude that the number of preventive measures is not related to the trust and fairness of the police in the local area and satisfaction with the quality of police work in the local area and gender.
