Abstract:
Diplomsko delo z naslovom Vključevanje otrok priseljencev v vrtec sestavljata teoretični in empirični del. V teoretičnem delu smo povzeli strokovne vidike različnih avtorjev o vključevanju otrok priseljencev v vzgojno-izobraževalno ustanovo, vrtec. Opredelili smo multikulturalizem, medkulturno vzgojo in medkulturne kompetence. Posvetili smo se vključevanju otrok priseljencev v slovenske vrtce. Poglobili smo se v vlogo vzgojitelja pri vključevanju otroka priseljenca v skupino. Za to je pomembna priprava na sodelovanje s starši otrok priseljencev, priprava ostalih otrok in ureditev didaktično-metodičnih prilagoditev za otroka priseljenca. V empiričnem delu smo raziskali, kako vključevanje otrok priseljencev vpliva na vzgojo v vrtcu. Zanimalo nas je, kako vzgojitelji ocenjujejo delo z otrokom priseljencem in kako pomembne so za njih medkulturne kompetence. Predvsem pa nas je zanimalo, kako se vzgojitelji pripravijo na prihod otroka priseljenca in česa se bolj poslužujejo. Podatke smo pridobili s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika. Nato smo jih obdelali s pomočjo SPSS programa in rezultate interpretirali. Ugotovili smo, da velik delež vzgojiteljev delo z otrokom priseljencem pozitivno vrednoti in da se v veliki meri pripravijo na prihod otroka priseljenca.

Title:
Integration of immigrant children into kindergarten
Abstract:
The thesis entitled Integration of Immigrant Children into Kindergarten consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. In the theoretical part, we have summarized authors' professional perspectives connected to the integration of immigrant children into educational establishments, kindergartens. We have defined multiculturalism, intercultural education and intercultural competences. We have focused on including these children in Slovene kindergartens. We have also analyzed the preschool teacher's role in including an immigrant child into the group and the importance of preparation for working with their parents, preparation of other children and various didactic-methodical adaptations for the immigrant child. In the empirical part, we have researched how the integration of immigrant children affects kindergarten education. We were interested in preschool teachers' perspectives about working with immigrant children and their thoughts on the importance of multicultural competences. We wanted to find out how they prepare for the arrival of an immigrant child. We have gathered information using a questionnaire, then processed and analyzed survey data with SPSS software. We have figured out that many teachers evaluate working with immigrant children as positive, and mostly they are well prepared for their arrival.
