Abstract:
V diplomski nalogi je predstavljen postopek zajemanja in obdelave slik vodomerov ter obdelava podatkov (številk), ki jih pridobimo s pomočjo računalniškega vida, tako da jih je možno prikazati na oddaljenem mestu v digitalni obliki. Vse to se izvede z mikroračunalnikom Raspberry Pi, ki ima priključeno kamero. Glavna tema naloge je računalniški vid, ki je ključen del tega sistema.

Title:
Water meter reader with Computer vision
Abstract:
The dissertation addresses the process of capturing and processing images of water meters, and processing of the data (numbers) that are obtained with computer vision in order to be displayed in digital form at a remote location. The process is completed with help of a Raspberry Pi microcomputer, which has an attached camera. The focus of thesis is computer vision, which is the key component of this system.
