Abstract:
V magistrskem delu so predstavljene sorte: SMART BELAMIA KWS, ROMANELLA KWS, HELENIKA KWS in TERRANOVA KWS. V prvi skupini, poimenovano »manj primerna« sorta sladkorne pese, nismo uvrstili nobene sorte. V drugo skupino, poimenovano »primerna« sorta sladkorne pese, spadajo tri sorte iz naše raziskave, in sicer: ROMANELLA KWS, HELENIKA KWS in TERRANOVA KWS. V tretjo skupino spada samo sorta SMART BELAMIA KWS z oceno »zelo primerna« sorta sladkorne pese.

Title:
Multi-Criteria analysis of sugar beet varieties.
Abstract:
The master's thesis is based on the development of a multi-criteria decision model for the evaluation of sugar beet varieties. The model was studied for all varieties, as these differ in sugar yield, root yield and different tolerances. The master's thesis presents the varieties: SMART BELAMIA KWS, ROMANELLA KWS, HELENIKA KWS and TERRANOVA KWS. These KWS varieties have improved, peeled seeds treated with insecticides and fungicides and are then different from “ordinary” sugar beet varieties. Based on the input data, in order to capture the influences of several factors of sugar beet varieties at the same time, we developed a multi-criteria decision model DEX-i for the evaluation of sugar beet varieties, in which we determined the main criteria: (i) yield (sugar / root yield), (ii) tolerance (Rhizomania, Cercospora, nematodes), (iii) drought tolerance, (iiii) alpha amino nitrogen content (processing), and (iiiii) tolerance to herbicide ALS inhibitor synthetase. According to the obtained results, sugar beet varieties were divided into three groups, namely: "less suitable" variety of sugar beet, "suitable" variety of sugar beet, and "very suitable" variety of sugar beet. In the first group, called the "less suitable" variety of sugar beet, we did not record any case. The second group, called the "suitable" sugar beet variety, includes three examples from our study, namely: ROMANELLA KWS, HELENIKA KWS and TERRANOVA KWS. The third group includes only the SMART BELAMIA KWS variety with a rating of "very suitable" sugar beet variety.
