Abstract:Inženirji smo pomemben faktor pri razvijanju novih procesov.

Title:Using the Simscale web platform to simulate fluid mechanics and heat transfer
Abstract:Engineers are an important factor in developing new processes. We often encounter the problem of visualizing conceived ideas and realizing them. Therefore, we help ourselves with simulations that can be paid or freely available, such as SimScale. SimScale is a cloud platform that provides instant access to computer dynamic fluids (CFDs) to help engineers and designers easily test performance, optimize durability, or increase the efficiency of their designs. SimScale is accessible from a regular web browser and on any computer, which eliminates the barriers that accompany a traditional simulation tool. In the diploma thesis, are represented three simulations of devices or phenomena with the help of free online platforms Simscale. For each simulation, there is a description of phenomena or devices, their significance in industry, the necessary settings in the simulation trees and analysis or. insight and evaluation of the obtained results.
Keywords:SimScale, simulation, tube heat exchanger, pressure drop, ejector
