Abstract:Ob nenehnem napredovanju in razvoju tehnologij, ki olajšujejo procese razvoja informacijskih rešitev, se vse pogosteje srečujemo z agilnimi metodami. Med najbolj razširjenimi sta metoda Scrum in metoda Kanban. V diplomskem delu so predstavljene značilnosti agilnih metod ter rezultati podrobne primerjave metod Scrum in Kanban. Raziskali in opisali smo tudi orodje Jira, ki je eno najbolj razširjenih podpornih orodij za agilne metode. Ugotovitve kažejo, da se, kljub skupnim izhodiščem, metodi razlikujeta tako glede vlog, izdelkov kot postopka razvoja ter nudita različne načine nenehnega izboljševanja razvojnega procesa.

Title:Comparison of SCRUM and Kanban
Abstract:With the constant advancement and development of technologies that facilitate the development of information solutions, we are increasingly encountering agile methods. Among the most common are the Scrum method and the Kanban method. The diploma thesis presents the characteristics of agile methods and the results of a detailed comparison of SCRUM and Kanban methods. We also researched and described the Jira tool, which is one of the most widely used support tools for agile methods. The findings show that, despite the common starting points, the two methods differ in terms of roles, products and development process, and offer different ways of continuous improvement of the development process.
