Abstract:Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz treh vsebinskih sklopov, ki obravnavajo nadzor družbe v današnjem času. Najprej je v prvem delu obravnavan nadzor sodobne družbe na splošno; predstavljena je zgodovina nadzora, tehnologije, s katerimi se nadzor sodobne družbe izvaja, ter zasebnost, ki je tesno pogojena s temo diplomske naloge. V drugem delu je prikazan in obrazložen novi koronavirus, ki je v letu 2020 postal pomemben del našega vsakdana in je temeljni del te diplomske naloge. V drugem delu je prav tako predstavljena statistika potrjenih okužb in smrti, ki jih je virus povzročil v Sloveniji. Tretji del obsega nadzor družbe v času pandemije in kakšno vlogo so oziroma imajo v času, v katerem smo, politika, zdravstvena stroka in mediji. Diplomsko delo skuša torej sistematično prikazati, kako smo kot družba nadzorovani in kako se je to množično nadzorstvo družbe s pandemijo koronavirusa še povečalo.

Title:Mass surveillance of society during the coronavirus pandemic
Abstract:The bachelor’s thesis consists of three sections that deal with the control of society today. The first part deals with the control of modern society in general, presents the history of control, the technologies used to control modern society, and privacy which is closely conditioned by the topic of the thesis. The second part presents and explains the new coronavirus which, in 2020, became an important part of our everyday life and is a fundamental part of this thesis. The second part also presents statistics on confirmed infections and deaths caused by the virus in Slovenia. The third part includes the control of society during the pandemic and what has been the role of the politics, health profession, and the media. The thesis, therefore, seeks to systematically show how we, as a society, are controlled and how this mass surveillance of society has increased with the coronavirus pandemic.
