V preiskavi so bili uporabljeni visokotrdnostni varilni čepi oz. vijaki razreda 8.8, katerih varivost smo preverili skozi uporabo vizualnega ocenjevanja, mehanskih preizkusov, kamor spadata upogibni in natezni preizkus, makro preiskav in meritev trdot.

Title:Arc stud welding on low alloy construction steel
Abstract:The master's thesis was focused on study of the arc welding of studs on construction steel. High-strength welding studs of class 8.8 were used in the study, the weldability of which was verified trough the use of visual inspection, hardness test, mechanical tests such as bend and tensile test. In the thesis, we wanted to determine whether the current welding procedure used by the company Preis Sevnica, Ltd., is suitable for welding studs of this type of material. If no, then we wanted to improve the procedure in direction to avoid additional (preventive) remelting of the weld by TIG process. In the master's thesis, I will present the entire research, which began with the study of welding standards, articles and material properties and ended with the analysis of obtained data from experimental work and collected conclusions.
Keywords:arc stud welding, mechanical tests, hardness test, bend test, tensile test, macro examination, high-strength threaded studs, construction steel
