Abstract:
Obarvane odpadne vode iz tekstilne industrije so močno obremenjene z ioni težkih kovin. V ta namen je bil izveden postopek čiščenja obarvanih modelnih voda. Postopke barvanja volne smo izvedli z ekstraktom iz suhih orehovih listov in s sintetičnim kovinsko kompleksnim barvilom BEMAPLEX Marine D RD. Modelnim vodam smo analizirali fizikalno kemijske parametre (temperaturo, pH vrednost, električno prevodnost, motnost, kemijsko potrebo po kisiku – KPK, celotni organski ogljik – TOC in koncentracijo Al3+, Cu2+, CrT in Fe3+ ionov).

Title:
Treatment of wastewater in process of dyeing withnatural dyes
Abstract:
Dyed wastewater from the textile industry is highly contaminated with heavy metal ions. In this work, the purification process of dyed model waters was performed. Wool dyeing processes were performed using an extract from dried walnut leaves and a synthetic metal complex dye BEMAPLEX Marine D RD. Afterthat we compared the dyeing efficiency of natural and synthetic dye and compared the ecological acceptability of the dyes. The aim of this study was to remove aluminium, copper, chromium and iron ions and dyes from the coloured model waters. The physical chemical parameters of the model waters (temperature, pH value, electrical conductivity, turbidity, Chemical Oxygen Demand – COD, Total Organic Carbon – TOC and concentration of Al3+, Cu2+, CrT and Fe3+ ions ) were analysed. We performed an adsorption process on activated carbon, zeolite ZAG 4A and zeolite ZAG CWK. The cleaning effect was evaluated by measuring the physical chemical parameters and calculating the adsorption efficiency and adsorption capacity. We also compared the ecological values of dyeing with natural and synthetic dyes and evaluated the effectiveness of dyeing with different dyes. Activated carbon was proved as the most effective adsorption material. After 20 hours of adsorption, 71.6 88.6 % of heavy metal ions was adsorbed to 20 g of activated carbon and discolourated the model water the most.
